Somewhere out there exists an oasis of men. You know a spot where all the fine ass brothers congregate. You know the ones that have jobs, no women on the side, all their teeth and no children. The brothers (I mean all men, not just black men) that look good in boxers, briefs and commando! They are all waiting for us to find them. This is the story of two women and their pilgrimage to MAN MECCA.Return of the Mac!
So after a brief hiatus the Mac has returned for one last go at it.
Jah called and was ever so sweet and I permitted him audience yet again. No funny business I swear!
We watched Boondocks - you must watch, it'll change your life! and got down to talking. It was the first time in a long time that I really enjoyed our conversation. To be honest I really avoid all the relevant issues with him, it might be the accent. Just being honest.
I asked him why he wanted to be with me and the response (after a few tries with translation) was really nice. When the question was posed to me thought really deeply and came up with two reasons:
1. Culture, well what I said was, "I am not black enough with out you!"
2. Dick, and well you don't want to know what I said.
I was interested again but tired. I really can't travel down this very beaten path and expect to get different results.
Mr. Absolutely Wonderful (henceforth to be called MAW) (I am really working on a new name people) has been, well...absolutely wonderful. I am not sure what to make of the situation, I met his daughter over the holiday weekend and most of his family and I was very happy with the results, no bonding moments to speak of but it was a great experience. MAW and I am getting really close and speak almost everyday.
I overheard his bestfriend refer to me as his girlfriend and I felt a small smile build within me. But the saga with Jah is not nearly complete and I feel as though if I don't resolve it within myself I can't really move on or move toward anyone or anything new.
MAW and I will take it one day at a time.

Hey Onika, where this you meet this guy jah? was it from that sex sites under the name jahlocks. I was there the same time you were, sadly to say. Are you still dating him? Oh my Gosh!! I was shocked reading your blog wow. He is really a hot meeeesss. He pretty much did the same thing to me I didn't realized that it was that bad until i read your blog today.
